Video: TSAPADROPETREFFEN the coldest winter motorcycle rally organized by the Amc Gentlemens Moto Club reaches its 2nd winter edition.
From 22 to 24 February the small town of Pragelato, in Val Chisone (about 80 km from Turin), was joined by about 160 motorcyclists who took part in the second edition of the winter meeting organized by the Gentlemen's motorcycle club in Pinerolo.
Saturday morning together with my adventure partner Luca, we get on the saddle towards Pragelato. The journey goes smoothly and the good weather allows us to get to the meeting without problems. A nice banquet of typical products offered by the organization is waiting for us to dispose of the waiting for registration. The base camp is a large square with little snow due to low rainfall, straw and wood are available for € 5 per bundle. The tent is located next to the Kinka village, which offers many services and has been the meeting point for many entertainments such as bingo and award ceremonies.
Not being a crowded gathering it was easy to get to know many other attendees and make new friends. Throughout the day there was a familiar and festive air, also thanks to the attention to detail by the organization.
The price of € 18 for registration included many gadgets and also an appetizing bean dish distributed on Saturday evening. During the night the temperature dropped to -7 °, with an icy awakening!
It was a really good experience, I will definitely participate again next year, with the hope that the snow will make the weekend more complicated and at the same time fun.
For this umpteenth test of frost resistance and travel protection we have used helmets HJC e Scorpion, clothing Alpinestars e Dainese, always with our faithful BMW F800 GS and Kawasaki Versys, rubberized Event.
