The chassis is completely new and the curb weight is only 198kg, 10kg less than the previous generation. The handlebars it is 13mm wider, allowing for a more dominant and focused position on the front wheel. Completely redesigned also the saddle, which is comfortable (ground clearance 830 mm) although primarily focused on supporting sporty driving in the best possible way. At the front, forks are mounted USD Öhlins NIX30, adjustable in preload, and hydraulic in rebound and compression, while the rear unit is a single shock absorber Öhlins TTX36 monoshock, also in this case adjustable in preload, rebound and compression. The price for Italy of the new Speed ​​Triple 1200 RS is € 17.600 (fc). The intervals of maintenance are expected every 16.000 km (10.000 miles), the motorcycle it is covered by a 2-year warranty with no mileage limit. The first Speed ​​Triple 1200 RS will arrive in dealerships starting in March 2021.
