Driven by a great passion for motorcycles and for the land in which they were born, Motorrad Toskana was born with the aim of making known places and characteristic landscapes of a still little known corner of Tuscany.
Motorrad Toskana organizes tours on individual and free request or in collaboration with tour operators. From short trips to more demanding tours, from individual to group trips, from food and wine tours to off-road tours, from the most important gatherings to meeting old friends: all this and much more is Motorrad Toskana.
The staff has its headquarters at theHotel Belvedere at the Carpinelli Pass in Garfagnana, province of Lucca.
The Garfagnana
Garfagnana, is the name of the upper valley of the Serchio river, a corner of the Toscana north-west, enclosed between the chain of the Apuan Alps, the precious marble mountains and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines with its undulating and grassy slopes. In the middle of all this, the valley, a land rich in Natural Parks (Apuane Park, Orecchiella Park, Mount Argegna Park, Tuscan-Emilian Apennine Park), Lipu Oasis, WWF and caves, hermitages and Romanesque churches, maestaine and country churches, castles and cones, villages walled of medieval origin, mysterious witnesses of a millenary culture that still survives today in the local uses and customs. The discovery of this great land is nothing other than following in the footsteps of saints, pilgrims and soldiers, shepherds, farmers and quarrymen and thus rediscovering forgotten balances in the beauty, aromas, flavors and colors of this enchanted corner of Tuscany. The Motorrad Toskana staff is always looking for new and different views and landscapes to offer: a valley to be explored “on tiptoe”, but always seeing everything from a “different turn”.
The tours of 2021: GSDAYS
The roads of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Apuan Alps will be the backdrop to have fun with your GS during this edition dedicated to OFF ROAD lovers. The meeting point is at Passo dei Carpinelli in Alta Garfagnana, in an area little known by mass tourism and waiting to be discovered, with its immense chestnut woods and roads designed for pure driving pleasure.
The location of the events will be the Hotel Ristorante Belvedere which will also make its workshop available to the participants for the assembly of knobbly tires on the GS.
Motorrad Toskana does not think only of the fun of the riders who will participate in the event but also of the wives, girlfriends or companions who will accompany you and have thought of two packages reserved for them to be able to spend these wonderful weekends with you: a package with Mini- bus will accompany them to discover the Garfagnana and another one of total relaxation by the hotel pool (weather permitting).
