Aesthetics and design
La Suzuki SV650 has athletic and essential shapes, which give an idea of great lightness. The black color combined with the bronze-colored trellis frame is for example a refined and classy solution, while the matte black livery with blue frame and rims evokes the Suzuki tradition without sacrificing a gritty touch. The maximum of dynamism and aggressiveness is instead obtained with the specimens that associate chassis and rims in dark red with a white tank and the rest of the black superstructures. Suzuki then makes available a rich catalog of accessories originals that allows you to customize the motorcycle in many ways, allowing you to adapt it to your tastes and the most disparate needs of use.
Engine and performance
The engine, with its black crankcases and gray cylinders, now has Euro 5 homologation, obtained without compromising on performance. The maximum power is 56 kW (76 hp), while the peak torque is 64 Nm, but the SV650 MY2021 can also be purchased by A2 license holders in a reduced power version of 35 kW (48 hp). In both solutions there are lively responses at all revs and a great readiness in revving. Average consumption in the WMTC cycle is 3,9 l / 100 km, equal to an average mileage of 26 km / liter, a value that allows fuel costs to be contained.
Features and technology
La Suzuki SV650 can satisfy the most experienced and demanding riders as well as those who are approaching a medium-displacement motorcycle for the first time or returning to two wheels after a long time. The superstructures lead to a comfortable driving position, which instills immediate confidence ensuring total control in every situation. The seat height of 785 mm, the tapered shape of the tank and the slender sides allow anyone to place their feet well on the ground and to easily manage the bike in maneuver, thanks to a weight of only 197 kg in running order. With such low mass and perfect balance, the SV650 responds docile to commands and draws trajectories with absolute precision. The configuration of this classic bike "for everyone", in addition to the effectiveness of the ABS, the Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist complete the configuration. The first makes starting the engine easier and the second stabilizes the engine speed when starting and driving at low speed, avoiding the risk of accidental shutdowns.
