At the Misano MotoGP it was the fall of Pecco Bagnaia that crowned Fabio Quartararo as World Champion of the 2021 World Championship.
An incredible weekend, full of emotions, from the last Italian race of Valentino Rossi, to the crash with 4 laps from the end of Pecco Bagnaia, to the victory of the GP of Marc Marquez, to the overtaking of Bastianini.
At the Grand Prix of Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna at the Misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli" really everything happened.
He started from pole position next to Jack Miller, second in qualifying yesterday, Pecco Bagnaia he managed to keep the lead after the start, followed by his teammate who remained in second position. The two pilots of the DucatiLenovoTeam they immediately started pushing, trying to gain ground on Marc Márquez, who was fighting behind them. During the fourth lap, however, Miller was the victim of a crash, which put an early end to his race.
Left alone in the lead, Bagnaia continued to push managing to create a small gap on the Spaniard with five laps to go but, during the same lap, he lost the front at turn 15 and was forced to retire. Following the fall of Pecco, Fabio Quartararo won the world title MotoGP 2021 but did not get on the podium.
Marc Marquez, behind Bagnaia, he won the Misano GP, proving again that he is always in better shape. Enea Bastianini, in the last meters before the finish line, overtook the new world champion, thus putting his feet on the third place of the podium behind Paul Espragaro.
Valentino Rossi closes in tenth place his last MotoGP in Italy and greet a circuit with a delirious public to which he has given many years of emotions, scares, screams and leaps up on the sofa, thanks Vale.
