Building on the success of the V4 model, the Ducati Streetfighter family expands with the presentation of the Streetfighter V2 and Streetfighter V4 SP models.

Lo Street Fighter V2 it represents the essence of the “Fighter” attitude: the new entrance door to the family is the perfect synthesis of audacity and essentiality. Made in a numbered series, lo Street Fighter V4 SP adds to the “Fight Formula” the exclusive technical specifications of the “SP” models, further improving the power / weight ratio of the Streetfighter V4 S, already at the top of its category.

Ducati expands the Streetfighter family for 2022 with the introduction of two new models: the bold and essential Street Fighter V2 and the top of the range Street Fighter V4 SP. The details of the two motorcycle were unveiled during the fourth episode of the Ducati World Première web series (here the direct link to see the video).

Street Fighter V2

The new Streetfighter V2 is a sports naked with a unique character, which is aimed at those riders who are looking for a bike capable of combining the sporting DNA of the Panigale V2 with the riding attitude and Streetfighter style. The result is an intuitive and easy-to-handle model, with the right power to guarantee adrenaline-pumping performance and maximum driving fun.

The bike is the product of the reinterpretation of the winner Ducati's “Fight Formula”, this time applied to the Panigale V2, which has been stripped of the fairings and equipped with high and wide handlebars. The dry weight of the bike is 178 kg and the engine is the 955 cm³ Superquadro with 153 HP controlled by a latest generation electronic package.

The new Streetfighter V2 is essential and characterized by an edgy design, which incorporates the main stylistic elements of the Streetfighter V4, starting with the distinctive front headlight, which recalls the V signature of the DRL typical of Ducati sports cars and is inspired by the famous expression of the Joker.
The elegant design of the bike is molded around the mechanics inherited from the Panigale V2, of which the Superquadro engine is the backbone.

The ergonomics of the Streetfighter V2 puts the driver at the center and is focused on road use with the right mix of sportiness and comfort. The high and wide aluminum handlebars replace the half-handlebars of the Panigale V2. The saddle is wider and has new padding that makes it more comfortable, while the footpegs have been repositioned to increase comfort. The driving position resulting from these changes allows the driver great control in sporty driving, but at the same time not to tire in everyday use.

The Streetfighter V2's engine is the Superquadro of 955 cm³ , compliant with the Euro 5 standard, capable of delivering a maximum power of 153 HP at 10.750 rpm and a maximum torque of 101,4 Nm at 9.000 rpm. This engine is very flexible: usable and enjoyable on the road, but also effective on the track, where it is always easy to manage. Compared to the Panigale V2, the Streetfighter V2 has a shorter final ratio (15/45 vs 15/43), which guarantees greater torque to the wheel at road speeds, giving better engine readiness when reopening the throttle.

In the development stages of this new model, the engineers focused particularly on the chassis. The Superquadro engine is used as a structural element and the compact front structure is connected to it, consisting of a monocoque frame in die-cast aluminum fixed to the engine head. The rear single-sided swingarm is also connected to the engine, which is 16 mm longer than that of the Panigale V2 to ensure the stability of the bike without the fairings.
To this base are added the 43 mm Showa BPF front fork and the Sachs shock absorber with dedicated calibration to make the bike more comfortable on the road, but at the same time easily settable for riding on the track.

The Streetfighter V2 is fitted with 5-spoke wheels and the new Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires in the sizes 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/60 ZR17 at the rear, which provide a quick response to the driver's impulses and excellent cornering feeling. The braking system is the same as that of the Panigale V2, equipped with Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers with 320 mm diameter discs, except for the choice of less aggressive pads and therefore more suitable for road use.

The complete and modern equipment electronics that equips the Streetfighter V2 is inherited from the Panigale V2. The six-axis IMU inertial platform supervises all the electronic controls of the motorcycle and measures the position of the motorcycle in space in real time, sending the information to the control units that manage the controls. The electronic package includes: ABS Cornering EVO with slide by brake functionality, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, Ducati Quick Shift up / down (DQS) EVO 2, Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO .

The Streetfighter V2 features three Riding Modes (Sport, Road, Wet) with dedicated control settings. The electronic equipment can be enriched by accessories contained in the Ducati Performance catalog: Ducati Data Analyzer (DDA + GPS) and Ducati Multimedia System.

The bike is equipped with full-LED headlights with front DRL and a 4,3 ”TFT dashboard with an intuitive interface that recalls the family-feeling of the Streetfighter V4.

The Streetfighter V2 will be available in Ducati dealerships starting from the month of December 2021 in Ducati Red color with black rims.

The Ducati Performance catalog contains various accessories designed to enhance the look and performance of the new Streetfighter V2. Among these, the wings stand out, designed by Ducati to guarantee even higher performance when used on the track.

Street Fighter V4 SP

The other big news in the Streetfighter family is the top-of-the-range model Street Fighter V4 SP, proposed in a numbered version and distinguished by the legendary abbreviation "SP" (Sport Production). The new Streetfighter V4 SP is the most adrenaline-pumping naked from Borgo Panigale ever , thanks to an exclusive technical equipment that combines the "Fight Formula" with the "SP" specifications, further improving the power / weight ratio of the Streetfighter V4 S, which was already the best in its category, and making the bike even more effective in driving on the road and on the track.

The Streetfighter V4 SP has a dedicated livery, an exclusive Superleggera V4 derivation and has a weight of 196 kg in running order (-3 kg compared to the Streetfighter V4 S).

The bike adopts the "Winter Test" livery , essential and fascinating, created by the Ducati Style Center inspired by the Ducati Corse motorcycles used in the pre-season tests of the Championships MotoGP and SBK. The matte black of the superstructures, combined with the matte carbon finish of the rims and wings, contrasts with the bright red accents and the brilliance of the exposed brushed aluminum tank. The bike is also visually enhanced by some details, such as the progressive number printed on the handlebar and the colors of the Italian flag on the carbon wings.

The Streetfighter V4 SP is equipped with 5 split-spoke carbon wheels, 1,4 kg lighter than the forged aluminum ones fitted as standard by the Streetfighter V4 S and capable of reducing the moment of inertia by 26% at the front and 46% at the rear, making the bike significantly more agile and light in changes of direction. The exclusives Brembo Stylema R front brake calipers® they guarantee high braking power, as well as an exceptional consistency of performance even in the case of prolonged use on the track.

The suspensions are the Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 regulated by the “event based” system, which is able to vary the damping according to the pilot's driving style, and together with the biplane wings increase confidence and guarantee the best performance in sports use.

The heart of the bike is the 1.103 cm³ Desmosedici Stradale with 208 HP capable of delivering a torque of 123 Nm at 9,500 rpm. On the Streetfighter V4 SP the Desmosedici Stradale is fitted with the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, which guarantees a better anti-skip function, even in the most aggressive downshifts, and greater fluidity in all "off-throttle" phases, which is essential to be effective on the track when driving to the limit.

The equipment of this exclusive bike is completed by the adjustable aluminum footpegs machined from solid that allow the rider to find the optimal position in the saddle, the carbon front mudguard, the lithium-ion battery and accessories that can be used in the "tracks. day ”, such as the open carbon clutch cover * and the cap for removing the license plate holder *.

Thanks to its technical equipment, the Streetfighter V4 SP represents the ideal bike for the amateur who wants to hit the track with a naked and be immediately fast. In fact, the quality of the bike under braking is extraordinary, as is the lightness in going down the lean, the tendency to close the line and the stability at high speeds.

The Streetfighter V4 SP is available in a single-seater configuration in the “Winter Test” livery. The bike can be ordered at Ducati network dealerships starting from January 2021.
