The new version is in fact characterized by a new windshield, new superstructures, a new tank and a new engine protection, which improve aerodynamics and ergonomics, increasing agility in dealing with the most inaccessible terrains and rider protection. .
From a technical point of view, the new KTM 890 ADVENTURE R confirms its solid yet agile chassis thanks to the resistant chrome-moly steel frame, combined with WP XPLOR suspensions fully adjustable.
Once in the saddle, you immediately notice the new 5 ″ TFT display equipped with a USB-C connector. The new instrument is characterized by color pictograms and intuitive graphics that facilitate navigation between the various menus. Also, the latest updates include a Turn-by-turn navigation Plus, which allows the pilot to select the preferred destination among the last destinations reached. In addition, a new call function allows you to call a contact from the favorites list (which can contain a maximum of 10 numbers), or to dial one of the last 10 numbers called.
The electronics package has also been improved: the control unit electronics of the new generation ABS is able to exploit the detections of the 6D sensor (which constantly provides information on the inclination, pitch, speed and general behavior of the motorcycle) so as to apply the right braking force in any situation. Riders who intend to test the potential of the bike off the beaten track can count on theOFF-ROAD ABS as an integral function of the OFFROAD mode, or on the RALLY mode (optional), without having to select the ABS OFFROAD separately.
