Motorbike itinerary, in unspoiled nature, to discover the Apennines that separates Emilia and Liguria: the Val D'Aveto.
In 1945, following a motorized column coming from Chiavari across the Forcella pass towards Piacenza, Hemingway arrived in Val d'Aveto, during his activity as a war correspondent, reporting the following words: " Today I crossed the most beautiful valley in the world ".

Val D'Aveto
The origin is indifferent, from Chiavari (GE) or from Bobbio (PC), the Val d'Aveto offers strong emotions in each of its stretches. It runs smoothly, pushing a little on the gas in the less narrow sections. The road winds along the river, or rather just above it, so much so that in some points it is possible to see wonderful points, similar to canyons, where, among other things, in summer you can safely immerse yourself.
Malaspina Doria Castle
The road connects Rezzoaglio in the south with Marsaglia in the north for about 30 km. We recommend a short variant, from Rezzoaglio, towards Santo Stefano D'Aveto, along the SP654, for a short visit to the small village and the Malaspina Doria Castle.
And for those who want to delight in local dishes can make a stop at the Ristorante dei Fieschi.
