The historic center
Parked there motorcycle, you can visit Praetorian Palace which houses the Civic Museum and the Historical Archive and Church of San Regolo. We recommend a visit on the last Sunday of October, as you can breathe the scents of the white truffle and chestnut festival that takes place in the historic center and at Villa Serena. Immerse yourself in the surrounding nature with the proposals of itineraries accessible on foot or on horseback.
Mount of San Vivaldo
We get back on the bike and walk the road to Volterra to reach the Sacro Monte of San Vivaldo known such as Jerusalem Toscana, an important place of worship since the 12th century. In the surrounding areas you can visit: Castelfalfi, area of Etruscan settlement, Villa Filicaja and Iano.
Do not miss
After the culture, down the knee in walking the road and from Alberi leads to Montaione, theater of the homonymous uphill race. From a real race to a re-enactment scenario thanks to the Castelfiorentino motorcycle club. Or you can stretch out to discover the splendid Strada in Chianti known as Via Chiantigiana and get up to Siena passing from San Gimignano.
