Moto Guzzi Experience is the new beautiful “tourist” project that the Mandello house offers its customers to try out the whole range.
Many appointments in the most beautiful regions of Italy (and beyond) to discover the wonders of these lands on the saddle of the entire range of Moto Guzzi.
We travelers have decided to put them to the test (also to test the new Guzzi V855TT) and we have chosen to do the first weekend of the Trentino, between the Alps, The Dolomites e passivated among the most famous in Italy together with Claudio Conte of Guida Sicura Urbana.
The tour starts on Thursday, in the splendid setting of Pergine Castle (from the XNUMXth century!), on the Tegazzo hill, not far from Trento. The view extends over the Brenta Dolomites and on the mountains of Mocheni Valley until the blue of Caldonazzo lake. The medieval structure is beautiful, like the ancient rooms (modern ones are also available): it will be a real pleasure to spend the nights of the tour here. Outside waiting for us we find our beautiful V85TT that we had requested. Other riders have chosen the V9 Roamers, MGX-21 or the timeless splendid California, as the whole range is available to customers. Time to hurry up the formalities, eat (local products in a mix of tradition and reinterpretations, really all excellent), let's fuel (included in the tour) and off we go.
We follow our guide at a nice pace towards the north. The weather is mild, the sun warms us and we go quickly to the first stop for a coffee in Cembra, splendid the view of the homonymous valley crossed by the Avisio river. After a few kilometers (and about ten minutes on foot in nature) we arrive at the famous ones Pyramids of Segonzano (some of which reach i 40 meters high). We take the state road again along the valley, up to the small and suggestive one Stramentizzo lake, where a short break will be made. After the break we go up to thePlateau of Pinè up to Lake of the Squares and then return to the hotel at Pergine Castle. A truly excellent dinner awaits us, with refined cuisine obviously accompanied by excellent wines. A famous actor (even a biker) would say “what else !?”.
The next morning we wake up early, so many kilometers await us, which I can't wait to travel on V85TT I'm having a lot of fun with. The cold is biting and the weather at high altitude often changes quickly, so we cover ourselves well.
Today the day is entirely dedicated to "Pale Mountains”, The ancient name of the Dolomites, declared a“ World Heritage Site ”by UNESCO since 2009. There are 5 degrees and the sun comes and goes, so we move quickly north-east of Trento along the Val Sugana, then we climb the curves and hairpin bends of the Pass of the Brocon. Our pace is fast, there motorcycle on a track and really many curves, like the breathtaking views that reveal themselves one after the other, also for the still abundant snow that makes everything even more suggestive. As we go back down we take the Val Cismon keeping to our right the group of Pale di San Martino, crossing the splendid and renowned San Martino of Castrozza. And it is back to climb, finally on the famous and always fascinating Passo role, where we obviously stop to warm up and take more souvenir photos of the group and postcard scenery. the next step is a Moena, for a refreshing lunch, before tackling the Pordoi Pass, what a show! We begin to feel the fatigue, but the descent through the Val di Fassa it's just as beautiful: a wonderful day, a very fun bike.
Let's go back to Castel Pergine to be pampered by the impeccable hospitality of the managers. The following morning we reluctantly return to Milan, but the Moto Guzzi Experience weekend continues until Sunday with the other most beautiful roads in the Trentino Alto Adige around the Brenta massifin Val di Non, Madonna di Campiglio, on the Lake Garda and on the beautiful curves of the Monte Bondone.
We had a lot of fun and above all we enjoyed the all-inclusive formula. The name Moto Guzzi Experience is perfect: you can choose the bike you want (especially if you intend to change it or get a new one), enjoy it and try it among the most beautiful curves in Italy, you don't have to think about anything (lunches, dinners, turns, gasoline ...) , in conclusion, a splendid experience even for those who do not have a motorcycle or perhaps live far away and want to consider it a sort of Fly & Ride.
