Marquez imposes his strength, his tenacity and his talent, returning to win in MotoGP after a long absence and enormous difficulties.
The spotlight is on Marc Marquez, who wins the MotoGP of Germany at Sachsenring, after a hard and difficult start to the season after his shoulder injury and all the problems that have arisen since that day.
While everyone was expecting a rocket start from Quartararo, Marquez immediately took advantage of a less than perfect start to put his Honda in first position right away.
Behind him the game was played between the pursuers who alternated several times behind the Spanish champion. Among these Miguel Oliveira on KTM winner of the MotoGP of Catalugna, after overtaking Alex Espargaro's Aprilia, which started very well, held firmly in second place, with Marquez in the viewfinder.
Behind the leading duo, which remained unchanged until the end, the fight for 3rd and 4th place was perhaps the most heated part of the GP, albeit unspectacular. Quartararo on Yamaha manages to finish in 3rd place and remains in command of the championship. The KTM of Binder, great surprise for everyone. The comeback of Pecco Bagnaia on Ducati is noteworthy and a great applause, as he slipped almost everyone from the rear: Miller 6th, Espargaro 7th, Zarco 8th and Mir 9th.
Meanwhile, the finish line has turned into the usual big one party all Spanish at Honda, and that in all honesty we have been missing for too long. After the finish line Marquez shed tears of joy, pain, fatigue and perseverance and moved us too. A victory that marks the return of the star that lit up the great circus of the MotoGP and a champion who is an example for everyone. Great Marc!
See you at next Grand Prix, in the Netherlands at the Assen circuit, on June 27, 2021.
