LS2 presented a lot of news for 2020. We have selected two modular that seem perfect for those who want only one helmet for both travel and everyday use: the Valiant II and the Scope.
1The new FF900 VALIANTII is the most versatile helmet in the LS2 collection and ideal for those who need a helmet for all weather conditions.
The Valiant II becomes part of the segment that LS2 calls URBAN COMMUTER, that is modular models that work perfectly in different contexts, city or extra-urban, and that are perfect in cold or hot situations thanks to the 180 ° flip-up chin guard, which allows the helmet to be used as a full face or jet.
The main features are:
- double approval P / J, therefore the reinforced strap and the micrometric metal closure can be used as a full-face helmet and as a jet helmet
- reflective inserts in the lower parts of the padding and small padded space inside the helmet for the use of prescription glasses or sunglasses, a "chin strap" that reduces external noise and protects the rider from wind and cold while driving
- the central rear air intake and the side ones ensure perfect air flow inside the helmet. The inner shell, or EPS, is channeled for better air circulation
- the visor is made of class A polycarbonate, with anti-scratch treatment and UVA protection in addition to the internal sun visor
VALIANT II, with two shell sizes, many colors, has a five-year guarantee and a starting price of 319 Euros in the monochrome version. Like all models in the LS2 range, it is designed for the inclusion of a bluetooth system.
2Il new modular FF902 SCOPE it is an extremely versatile helmet with a very low cost: the perfect entry level for urban and touristic use.
The outer shell, molded with an aerodynamic and resistant shape, incorporates the upper and rear air intakes, in addition to the movement system of the chin guard. The shell is printed in three sizes in KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy), a mixture of thermoplastic polymers and fiber that allows to create a resistant and light helmet, able to perfectly absorb the energy generated by a possible impact. The inner shell in differentiated density EPS is made in five different sizes depending on the size, with the aim of improving the wearability of the helmet.
The chin guard can be easily lifted thanks to a single button with a mechanism designed with the aim of avoiding any type of accidental opening. The chin rest closed becomes one with the helmet, guaranteeing the same safety as a full face.
The visor is equipped with quick release, anti-scratch and anti-UV treatment, Pinlock and the exclusive TSS system (Twin Shield System) which activates the internal sun visor, for perfect visibility at all times.
The interiors are removable and washable, with breathable and hypoallergenic microfiber fabrics. The strap is in steel with quick release closure and micrometric adjustment.
FF902 SCOPE is ready for the Bluetooth system and prices start at 149 Euros.
