The official trailer for “Long Way Up,” Apple's gripping new original series, starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, is now available. The first three episodes of the series, consisting of eleven episodes, will have a world premiere on Apple TV + Friday September 18. New episodes will be uploaded on Fridays, every week.
“Long Way Up” unites McGregor and Boorman in an extreme adventure of travel and friendship, after more than ten years from their last motorcycle exploits around the world. The two protagonists travel further 20 thousand km in about 100 days, from Ushuaia in the far reaches of South America to Los Angeles, in what could be defined as their most adventurous expedition. With the aim of promoting an ideal of sustainability, the couple travel on the Harley-Davidson electric LiveWire®, modified for the occasion.
Thanks to innovative technologies, the protagonists cross 16 borders e 13 Countries with their longtime collaborators, directors David Alexanian and Russ Malkin, traveling on two fully electric Rivian pickups. The series was conceived and produced by Ewan McGregor, Charley Boorman, David Alexanian and Russ Malkin.
