Following in the footsteps of previous tours in Norway and South Africa, Honda Adventure Roads will come back to June 2021 for its third edition. Objective, to face the extraordinary volcanic landscapes ofIceland riding the new one CRF1100L Africa Twin.
The first edition of Adventure Roads (Norway, 2017) saw 40 motorcyclists set out on an 8-day, 3.500km journey from Oslo to Nordkapp, the northernmost point in Europe.
In 2019, the second edition (South Africa) brought as many passionate riders on a course of 3.700 km for one coast to coast from Durban to Cape Town, exploring stunning tracks and epic landscapes for 12 days of adventure.
For 2021, Honda Motor Europe will bring 30 riders riding the new CRF1100L Africa Twin, also in the Adventure Sports version, in an 11 day raid through the land of "Fire and Ice".
From Reykjavik, the northernmost capital in the world, the third Adventure Roads it will wind its way towards the south of the island and then cross the remote plateaus of the north and finally return to Reykjavik. Enjoying some of the most inspiring motorcycling landscapes in the Northern Hemisphere, participants will ride their Africa Twins on all kinds of tracks, from perfectly paved roads to dirt paths, navigating the famous black sand and wading rivers, while admiring the majestic beauty of an island famous for its volcanoes, waterfalls, lava fields, geysers and the extra 22 hours of daylight during the summer.
Adventure Roads 2021 it is a "turnkey" package for 30 Honda customers - Africa Twin owners - from all over Europe. It includes the rental of the Africa Twin with relative maintenance, high-level accommodation, assistance and expert guides, to allow participants to relax, drive and have fun. And what's more, they can meet some of the HRC Rally Team drivers, admire their exhilarating driving and benefit from their driving advice.
