Turning to the technical description, we indicate that the outer fabric, laminate, “Incorporates” a membrane waterproof with a tightness of 5.000mm of water columns and features elasticity (thanks to the use of Spandex). The protection from rain and wind is guaranteed and to it is added the insulating function from the cold of thethermal padding removable lining of 100 grams to which are added finishes such as knitted wool cuffs.
The real novelty, however, is hidden in the closure: ANDROMEDA is in fact equipped with the innovative "HEVIK Ventilation System”, Which allows, if necessary, an optimal recirculation of air inside the garment. How does it work? Thanks to a flap in Mesh mesh folded under the right side, which can in turn hook to the left side as it is equipped with a zip, becoming a closing element and thus creating a direct front air intake, without interference from the external flap that will remain in turn open, anchored on the left side of the jacket thanks to the presence of small magnets.
They further increase the comfort numerous pockets, even eight, present externally and internally: of the five external we point out the very comfortable document pocket positioned on the left arm and the two lower pockets with flap held in place by magnets. The three internal ones are also comfortable, one of which is positioned on the thermal padding.
The "sector" safety offers homologated protections on shoulders and elbows of level 1 and the back pocket to insert the HFB back protector (produced by Hevik and CE Level 2 certified). This parka is certified in class A according to the European standard FprEN 17092: 2018
