Motor

The new Hayabusa inherits the legendary and powerful liquid-cooled four-cylinder in-line engine from 1.340 cc. The exhaust system helps to meet Euro 5 emission standards and makes a decisive contribution to power and torque at low and mid-range, the most commonly used in road driving. The new Suzuki Hayabusa has a maximum power of 140 kW (190 hp) at 9.700 rpm and focuses on the expression of a powerful maximum torque of 150 Nm at 7.000 rpm.
The delivery curve of the new Hayabusa shows how the torque is more powerful in the low and medium revs than the previous model.
The new Hayabusa is capable of detaching the previous series when starting from a standstill and in most everyday situations, while the maximum speed is always self-limited at 299 km / h.

Aerodynamics

Aerodynamic performance is of fundamental importance for a motorcycle capable of reaching maximum speeds in the order of 300 km / h. Thanks also to prolonged tests in the wind tunnel and the use of the most advanced CAE analysis tools, the Hayabusa records one of the best drag coefficients ever measured on a production bike, with extraordinary results in terms of penetration, stability. and rider protection. This is perfectly integrated into the shape of the bike and can assume a more comfortable position than in the past, with the handlebar retracting by 12 mm and ensuring total mastery in every situation.
