Despite the cancellation of the European Bike Week, the tourist area of ​​Villach offers all motorcycling enthusiasts some alternative initiatives to discover their territory.

Guided tours, driving courses and experiences along the most beautiful panoramic roads of this jewel of Carinthia: from 5 to 14 September, the engines from all over the world return to roar in Villach Europe, waiting for the next edition scheduled for the second week of September.

For many years, the European Bike Week has been the highlight of the summer season: one of the largest gatherings Harley-Davidson of the world attracts over 100.000 visitors to the shores of Lake Faak, in the Austrian tourist area of ​​Villach. Due to the current international health situation, the organization of the event regrettably announced the postponement of the event to next year (date already set: 7 to 12 September 2021). In order to be able to discover the territory of this corner of Carinthia on the saddle of your motorcycles, a few kilometers from the Italian border of Tarvisio, you can take advantage of the initiatives of the program "Back to the Roads", Which will be staged from 5 to 14 September 2020. ON TOUR WITH HARRY'S BIKE TOURS LOCAL GUIDES

To discover the Villach area on your motorcycle, you can take advantage of the professionalism of Harry's Bike Tours and its local guides. From 5 to 12 September 2020 it offers five guided tours every day, departing from Lake Faak, Villach or Lake Ossiach. The excursions cost 29,00 Euros (half day) or 49,00 Euros (full day). The holders of the Erlebnis Card, subject to availability and the number of participants, can take part in the tours for free: the Erlebnis Card (card.visitvillach.at) is the card of the tourist area of ​​Villach, delivered free of charge to the guests of the structures accommodations adhering to the initiative, which provides for an agreement with about 600 events of various character: sports, natural, gastronomic, cultural and much more.

SAFE DRIVING COURSES WITH THE FAHRSCHULE GABRIEL SCHOOL
Among the “Back to the Roads” proposals, the special training and safe motorcycle driving program offered by the Fahrschule Gabriel school in Villach is not to be missed. DISCOVERING THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CARINTHIAN PANORAMIC ROADS

Carinthia, with its suggestive panoramic alpine roads, is the ideal destination for motorcycling enthusiasts. For all those who do not know them yet, or who have been so enchanted by them that they want to return, in the "Back to the Roads" program it is possible to purchase access to: Grossglockner High Alpine Road (24,00 Euros instead of 27,00 Euros), Nockalm Road (12,00 Euros instead of 13,00 Euros), Goldeck Panorama Road (7,50 Euros instead of 8,50 Euros), Villacher Alpine Road (11,00 Euros instead of 12,00 Euros), Gerlos Alpine Road (6,00 Euros instead of 7,00 Euros).
The offer is valid for groups of at least five participants. Prices are intended for each participant. Once you arrive at the access to the road, the first member of the group will have to communicate the number of motorcycles to the ticket office and then pay the full amount (no individual payments are foreseen). Participants in the European Bike Week will be able to enjoy all the advantages of the Kärnten Card which gives free access to over 100 tourist attractions, including museums, cable cars, boats, swimming pools, amusement park, scenic roads and other leisure facilities and to take advantage of discounts up to 50% with over 60 exclusive partners.
