EICMA 2019 - BMW Motorrad presents a new model for even more fun: F 900 XR.

With the new Dynamic Roadster in the Adventure Sport segment, BMW Motorrad is further expanding its product range for the mid-range.

All models in the Adventure Sport range guarantee fun, handling and a unique range of equipment options, designed to offer attractive value for money.

The new BMW F 900 XR: a true “XR” for the mid-range.

“XR” stands for an uncompromising mix of sportiness and touring ability. The style of the design and the concept of the vehicle clearly refer to the kinship with the "big sister".

The F 900 XR has all the key qualities of the Adventure Sport segment: sporty driving dynamics combined with upright, GS-like ergonomics, exceptional comfort and fit for passengers and a design that conveys a strong sense of character.

The new F 900 XR also benefits from top-class technology: adaptive cornering light, keyless ignition or intelligent emergency call are all unique features in the mid-range.

In addition to sporty motorcyclists, the XR is also aimed at newcomers and those who want to get back on the saddle thanks to its easy accessibility, reduced saddle height, the possibility of having it weakened in class A2 and an attractive price.

Technological reference point in the segment.

The new F 900 XR currently represents the technological benchmark in the mid-range segment with their high-quality standard equipment (connectivity, LED as standard) and its wide range of optionals - in some cases unique in this class (including lights). Adaptive Turning, Keyless Ignition, Dynamic ESA, Pro Driving Modes, Shift Assistant Pro, Intelligent Emergency Call, ABS Pro, MSR, DTC, DBC, RDC).

In the new F 900 XR, improved driving dynamics is ensured by the further development of the 2-cylinder in-line engine first introduced in 2018 with the F 850 ​​GS, now with 77 kW (105 hp) and torque fuller. the engine then offers a particularly exciting sound.

The new F 900 R and F 900 XR already offer “Rain” and “Road” riding modes as standard. The standard specification also includes ABS and ASC automatic stability control, which can be deactivated.
