A motorcycle trip through time with the Stylmartin Continental, the classic style boots revisited: this is how our test went.
Traveling by motorcycle does not only mean wearing technical garments with a futuristic and aggressive look, which often do not go together with the beautiful modern classics of today.
We have therefore tested the Stylmartin Continental: a boot that takes us back over the years, with a decidedly “cool” look but developed according to the needs of us modern motorcycle travelers.

At first sight
Black leather, contrast stitching and metal buckles: the sole is produced by Vibram® in material antislip and with a tank design; the 4 buckles they are "those of the past", of stivali from enduro and motocross of the 70s, not very easy to hold (just take our hand); the tibia support is present and clearly visible.
We are in 2020 and today we see a boot like the Continental very well not only on scrambler e cafe racer but also on custom, naked and maxi enduro. And if you feel you dare more there is also the version in red skin.
Materials and characteristics
When you put it on you can feel the quality of the products that Stylmartin has chosen, "like those of the past" but with modern features: the upper is made of water repellent calfskin, the breathable leather lining, the anatomical insole and removable. On the ankles we find the PU protectors on both sides.
A day on the motorbike
We wore it with a still fresh morning for a whole day, reaching almost thirty degrees. While driving we enjoyed this mixed feeling between comfort and protection, without particular stiffness when shifting. The leather allowed the foot to "breathe" even in the hottest stops, next to the engine of the Triumph Tiger we were on the road.
During the stops you can appreciate the comfort of the walk and of the support footbed, as well as the sole that grips very well when maneuvering. Taking them off is a moment, putting them back on a little more laborious, but we could wear them both under the pants and over them, for those who want a more "dirt" look or wear them with enduro pants and a real old one scrambler of the 70 years.
In conclusion a beautiful restyling with current features in terms of safety and materials. We could not test them under water but remember that water repellent does not mean 100% waterproof, for this reason, if you travel, remember to bring a pair of boot covers with you.
The retail price is Euro 319,00 and you can find all the information on the site Stylmartin.it
