Brixton Motorcycles at EICMA 2022 continues to amaze the public and fans of the young brand and after the Cromwell 1200 comes the Storr, for any terrain.
It has only been five years since the first Brixton Motorcycles vehicles were delivered to dealerships. Shortly after the 125ccs came out, the first quarter-litre bikes followed and in 2019 Brixton's first mid-size bike, the Crossfire 500, made its appearance.
Finally, in 2022, serial production of the long-awaited Cromwell 1200 began and the brand slogan “Any direction, as long as it's your own” (any direction, as long as you choose it) finds its embodiment in the presentation of two new prototypes at the fair.
Brixton Storr: the name derives from the homonymous rock formation on the Isle of Skye, in Scotland. The rugged landscape of northern Scotland recalls the wild design of motorcycle adventure. The Storr is the first model that Brixton has developed in collaboration with the RiDE design studio in Salzburg. It is equipped with the much appreciated Crossfire 500 series engine, now also known for its outstanding reliability.
The Storr is unquestionably practical, everything has a purpose – from the large windshield, to the forward-sloping fuel tank, to the long passenger grab handles and backpack-style rear rack. It remains to be seen whether the raw look of the prototype will be turned into series production; although, so far, most Brixton prototypes have only ever seen production.
The EICMA visitors who appreciated it live can't wait to try it and we are sure that it won't be long before it goes into production, we hope to see it in time for spring 2023!
