Headlight protection grid
The headlight protection grille (Art.no.20420-409) made by Wunderlich for theEDITION 40 years GS it is strictly yellow. It protects the headlight assembly from stones and objects that can damage it especially when driving off-road, thus avoiding costly repairs / replacements. Price € 122,92 (VAT included).
Engine crash bars
The engine crash bar (Art. No. 26442-206) made by Wunderlich for the EDITION 40 years GS is strictly yellow and is elegant and resistant. The result of thirty years of experience in the production of crash bars, this new product guarantees safety, lightness and easy maintenance. Product compatible with BMW R1250GS (in combination with the HP valve cover, the blue sanding protection must be removed). Price: 296,29 euros (VAT included).
Tank protection
The Tank Guard (Art. water of the upper area. Fitted together with the engine crash bar, it increases the protection of the motorcycle, also optimally distributing the forces exerted on the various mounting points of the two accessories in the event of a fall. The design of the bar integrates perfectly with that of the bike. The guard is made of a composite of 25 and 18mm precision steel tubes, made on CNC tube benders and subsequently welded. Driver's seat
The AKTIVKOMFORT driver's seat (Art. No. 42720-409) made by Wunderlich for the EDITION 40 years GS is black / yellow and is perfectly integrated into the design of the bike. It boasts a distinctive 3D ergonomic edging that allows the rider to “integrate seamlessly with the bike”. The shape and inclination of the saddle (with a progressive two-layer structure) promote a comfortable and natural back posture, ensuring a relaxed and safe ride. Thanks to the ThermoPro coating, the temperature of this saddle in the summer sun can be up to 25 degrees lower than saddles covered with common untreated materials. In addition, a matching passenger seat is also available. As happens on all AKTIVKOMFORT saddles, the weight of the rider - evenly distributed over a large surface - prevents deformation of the padding. Another important aspect is the concave shape which prevents pressure from being exerted on the coccyx, as well as preventing the passenger from sliding forward during braking. Flowjet windshield
The FLOWJET windshield (Art. No. 42730-009) made by Wunderlich for the EDITION 40 years GS is yellow and fits perfectly into the chromatic layout of this special edition. The state-of-the-art design gives the BMW GS a unique and distinctly sporty appearance while ensuring aerodynamic protection. The dimensions and proportions of the “FLOWJET” windshield combine perfect design and high basic protection. The Flowjet replaces the standard screen and is therefore adjustable in angle / height in the same way as the original. Price: 102,42 euros (VAT included).
