The 34th edition of the legendary Bikerfest will take place in Lignano Sabbiadoro: 3 days of shows, concerts, exhibitions for motorcyclists, rockers and enthusiasts.
It is the motorcycle most important gathering in Italy, as well as the most spectacular in Europe, and thanks to its extraordinary longevity it can be considered a great classic like many of the vintage models that will be on display during its three days: the Biker Fest in Lignano Sabbiadoro is in fact at its 34th edition and this year too it will take place in September, from the 17th to the 20th of the month, in full compliance with government safety regulations.
Despite the particularity of the moment, the event will reserve many surprises for the participants to keep faith with their spirit that combines a showcase with the latest news, test rides, music and entertainment, fun related to the world of motors.
Few data are enough, such as the 325 exhibitors, the 480.000 square meters of surface involved in the event, the 10 rock concerts to give an idea of the scope of the festival and the consideration received among experts, enthusiasts and curious people who can find all together in a single outdoor event all the major motorcycle manufacturers. Furthermore, as usual, there will be the best national and international “Special” motorcycle preparers, a factor that has contributed to highlighting the Biker Fest all over the world.
You don't need to be a motorcyclist to take a ride in Lignano during the days of the event: the richness and variety of the Biker Fest are such as to entertain and intrigue even those who have never ridden a motorcycle. Only here it is possible to admire, for example, the glittering chrome of the US Car Reunion which collects over 300 splendid examples of American cars. And for those who do not have a particular experience, but want to familiarize themselves with the vehicle, an excellent opportunity to go out in company are organized motorcycle tours.
Electric novelties
And given the Friulian town's particular attention to environmental sustainability also linked to mobility, the most awaited novelty of 2020 will be the e-Mobility Village, within the market area: this special section of the event will give the opportunity to test vehicles electric and hybrid of all kinds (from scooters to cars, passing through motorcycles) and to deepen the characteristics of the rapidly growing sector.
Four areas to suit everyone
Four areas of the locality involved to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the different souls of the event in total tranquility. Live music shows and shows will take place at the Luna Park Strabilia and will feature US cars, races, exhibitors and the food & beverage offer.
Demo rides, the Custom Bike Show, sports cars and, in fact, everything related to electric mobility will be hosted between the square of the Teghil Stadium, the Aquasplash and the Market Area.
One of the most original aspects cannot be missing, such as the spectacular peculiarities of the Dirty Track Area: the Dirt Track Races & School and the Scrambler, 4 × 4, Off Road Jeep, Enduro spaces, Trial and Kart Cross.
The interesting insights into the sector will be staged in a scenographic location such as the Terrazza a Mare which will host workshops and conferences.
The exclusives
An absolute exclusive is the Final of the IMC Custom Bike Show Championship (Italian Motorcycle Championship) and the only date of the AMD World Custom Bike Show Championship in Italy with the exhibition of the most beautiful motorcycles in Europe.
Another national exclusive is the spectacular and exhilarating Scrambler Challenge (since 2014) in the Off Road Zone, the first and only European event dedicated to this motorcycle segment.
