Lake of Bolsena - Capodimonte
It is the largest volcanic lake in Europe and the Lazio, as well as the fifth lake in Italy by extension. Inside the Lake Bolsena two islands emerge: Isola Bisentina and Isola Martana. Between villages overlooking Lake Bolsena, Capodimonte it is among the smallest but certainly one of the most fascinating, thanks to its detail that dominates one of the promontories overlooking the lake.

Not far from the Rocca you will find the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, Palazzo Borghese, now the town hall, and the Poniatowski palace, also known as the “Palazzaccio”. Last but not least, we point out the interesting Inland Water Navigation Museum, located a few minutes from the historic center.
Pitigliano
Leaving the splendid village and the waters of the lake, we take the SR312 and then the SR74 towards Pitigliano. Also nicknamed Little Jerusalem, because starting from the sixteenth century it hosted a large Jewish community within its walls, Pitigliano is today one of the most fascinating historic villages in Italy and an unmissable stop during a trip to Toscana.
Do not miss: the majestic Palazzo Orsini andMedici aqueduct, elegant water supply facility, the Jewish ghetto, where you will find the Synagogue, the Unleavened Oven, the Kosher Butcher, the Cellar and the Ritual Bath. Finally the churches, the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the Church of San Rocco, which is the oldest building in the whole town, and the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie, just outside the town, in a panoramic position with respect to the village. The Cascate del Mulino
The free spas in Tuscany are a very important resource, unique places to preserve and discover, to be entranced by their beauty and enjoy the beneficial and curative properties of the waters. Swerving towards Saturnia: two passivated from the thermal complex of Terme di Saturnia Spa & Gof Resort, le Mill waterfalls are considered the free spas most beautiful in Tuscany. Along the road leading to Montemerano, the high cascade of thermal water at 37.5 ° C that pours constantly into the tanks dug naturally in the travertine, create beautiful natural pools.
Argentinian
The splendid promontory dominated by Monte Argentario is connected to the mainland by the Giannella and Feniglia tomboli and by an artificial isthmus which corresponds to the Orbetello dam. To make this place truly special we find the ancient fishing villages of Porto Santo Stefano e Porto Ercole, its marine environment and exceptionally mild climate, making it an ideal vacation spot for much of the year.
To better appreciate the sea and the beaches of the Argentario, we recommend that you rent a small boat or a dinghy to skirt the promontory and admire the most hidden coves, caves, islets, the most beautiful beaches or those accessible only from the sea and therefore never excessively crowded. If, on the other hand, you are not "sea wolves" you will have no difficulty in reaching many beaches and coves even by land.
Do not miss
The Orbetello Lagoon, the Fortress of Talamone, the Roman city of Cosa in Ansedonia, the Tarot Garden in Capalbio, the Spanish Fortress in Porto Santo Stefano, the Abbey of San Rabano, Cala del Gesso, the Cannelle beach, the Panoramic road from Porto Santo Stefano to Porto Ercole and taste the best dishes of the region in Magliano.
